WATCH

“WATCH” Stands for We Are the Church

WATCH is a spiritual renewal program for adults. It originated in Ohio and was brought to us by St. Thomas Parish in Peoria.

WATCH is not an exclusive group and does not require a commitment for further participation. It’s an event that occurs twice a year in our parish, and it offers you a time to experience God’s love for you through His Church.

Each WATCH weekend is relaxed, casual; filled with fun, fellowship, reflection and learning. The focus of the occasion is individual renewal. Throughout the weekend, talks and activities are presented by both parishioners and clergy.

WATCH weekends include activities centered on the Sacraments, your church, yourself and your parish family. It’s an opportunity to escape your hectic schedule and relax during a time of prayer and reflection.

Each WATCH weekend begins around 7:00 p.m. Friday evening and ends about 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. All activities take place in the Parish center, the Church or the school cafeteria. All meals are provided and participants go home at the end of the day.
